Until the Music Stops

The tip of her tail twitching,

side to side like an old metronome

of an era bygone… rusty and dusty.

One that had seen styles come and go,

and paced one to many songs.

Now with the syncopated rhythm

of an old Jazz tune,

one more for the rode

until the music stops.
